RUSTIC ITALIAN IN WEST LOOP’S RESTAURANT ROW
Bar Siena, the two-story, 8,000-square-foot restaurant is located in the heart of ‘Restaurant Row’ in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Overseen by DineAmic Group partners and Top Chef Fabio Viviani, the menu is inspired by expansive Italian street food such as antipasti, pizza and calzones. Similar to sister venue, River North’s Siena Tavern, all dishes are made in-house, from-scratch; however, at Bar Siena they are served cicchetti-style –brought to the table to enjoy as they are prepared and intended to be shared. A lively bar occupies the ground level while a vibrant dining room is located on the second floor, both connected by an arresting illuminated sculpture inspired by Siena Tavern's olive tree icon. Open 7 days a week, Bar Siena offers a full, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekend brunch menus, in addition to a skilled team dedicated to catering & private events. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, powered by BomboBar, their bustling walk-up window on Green Street.
You're In Good Hands
When DineAmic Group owners Lucas Stoioff and David Rekhson first created Siena Tavern, much of their inspiration came from a quaint, casual and energetic bar and restaurant called La Taverna in Siena, Italy. The inspiration led to a more polished and expansive version suited for River North; however, Stoioff and Rekhson still longed for an Italian bar and eatery more along the lines of their original inspiration in terms of size and energy. 3 years later, Bar Siena was born. Bar Siena’s menu is slightly smaller than Siena Tavern’s and rotates more frequently, paying homage to various regions of Italy. The red mosaic tile pizza oven bearing the name “Bella,” was handmade and imported from Italy, and reaches temperatures of over 600 degrees. Bar Siena’s dining options are ideal for share-everything, try-everything guests looking for a remarkable experience.
